Happy Cow Ice Cream began with a simple dream of founders Dan and Wendy what started as a small mom-and-pop shop has grown into something truly special. Fast-forward, Presley & Josh wanted to build a life in Fernie, create something meaningful, and do it on their own terms.
We're still proudly family-owned and operated. On any given day, you might find three generations working in the back — us, our parents, and our kids. That's not just a fun fact; it's who we are.

Our values were shaped around tables at our favourite local spots — the small restaurants that take the time to do things right, make food from scratch, and actually care about what goes on the plate. That's exactly the standard we hold ourselves to.
Every batch of Happy Cow ice cream is handcrafted from scratch using real, simple ingredients. No artificial flavours. No artificial colouring. No additives, no preservatives, and nothing you can't pronounce. We source local and organic ingredients whenever possible, and we keep our recipes intentionally simple — because quality doesn't need a long ingredient list.
